Input / Output Coincidence Lab Assignment
Description
Wedding gift with e-card : The wedding gift box has a embedded speaker and a light sensor, so when they open the box, it plays wedding song. Before and after the song it prints "congratulations" in the screen which can work as a e-card potentially.

Material
Description:
A basic & primitive security system for secret diaries. Using a photocell embedded in a diary to detect if and when a diary is opened, and a piezo speaker as an alarm.
Material:
bread board
arduino
photocell
piezo speaker
wires
Code:
Description:
I used wanted to create a musical game board that emitted sounds as players moved across the board. You can see the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ai90Gg9lIko
Materials Used:
- Piezo speaker
- FSR sensor
- 10kohm resistor
- Game Board
- Game Piece
Code Used:
The force sensor is attached on top of the piezo buzzer. During the game, the buzzer plays a portion of a (random) melody and the player has to reproduce the rythm of the melody she just heard by beating with a finger the FSR. Each time the user remembers correctly the rythm, one note is added and the melody is played again, until the player wins by remembering the whole melody.

Objective:
For this assignment we were asked to provide an input and output coincidence using the Piezo speaker and a sensor.
Components used:
Piezo Speaker, Breadboard, Arduino Board, 1 Force Sensor Resistor, 10kohm Resistor, Wires, Alarm Clock
Description:
I created a low fidelity digital harmonium. It has one button (made from the FSR) and a flap (made from the Photocell) which can be used to create different sounds. It also has a volume control which is a Potentiometer connected to the speaker.
Components Used:
1. Force Sensitive Register
2. Photocell
3. Peizo Speakers
4. Potentiometer
5. Registers and wires
Materials Used:
Arduino Uno, Piezo Speaker, Potentiometer, LEDs,Resistors, Force Sensitive Resistor
In Lab Section:
We interfaced a Piezo speaker to the Arduino play tunes which could be sent over the serial port.
Homework Section: Input Output Coincidence:
Goal: To design a system which has input and output at the same location. Any of the above materials may be used.
BUZZME! - The Concept:
My project was inspired by a story from my childhood. Some friends of mine would travel down to the sewer where they said they saw a "cyclops blackbird" who feasted on sewage. I never did see this bird personally, but this puppet is based on the character that I imagined as a child.
