Description
After getting the pulsing to work for 1 LED, I set up the breadboard to run the DimmingLEDs.txt file, and was able to run it successfully. I kept the same configuration, and was able to run the serial_led_rgb.txt code as well.
For Homework, I made a diffuser out of taping together 2 cotton pads, and ran the DimmingLEDs.txt file whilst covering the lights with the pad. The mixture of blue and red can be seen in the attached photo.

Description: I played around with the fader code, and then modified the serial RGB code to increase brightness by 25 every time someone enters the r, g, or b keys. When it gets to 255, the values go back to 0. By entering z, you can zero all the values, blanking the origami balloon box.
I did the optional section as well, adding RGB values for entering y (yellow), o (orange), and p (purple).  

Description:
This lab was completed in three parts. First we made a single LED fad from min to max brightness with the "fading" example sketch. The PWM pins take a int from 0 to 255 and outputs a corresponding pwm signal. For LED brightness, therefore, fading is achieve by incrementing the pwm value up or down and delaying in between.
Then we made three LEDs cross fade with the provided "Dimming LEDs" sketch. They crossfaded through patterns using a series of nested if-else statements and incrementing a counter. 

Fading using PWM

Description
Microcontrollers have pins that can handle pulse width modulation, or a technique that emulates an analog signal by switching a digital signal from high to low at different speeds. In this lab, we run PWM to fade LED lights.
