Our project is a revision of the electronic game, Simon. It is a memory game in which the player must match a series given by the computer using buttons that light up and have corresponding audio tones.
We aim to make the game multiplayer and not to rely on the computer to create the sequence. One player begins a sequence. The next player must repeat the sequence and add to it. Then it passes to the next player, and so on, in a circle. Each payer should have their own input device.
We are also considering other variations. We may change the input device to resemble a musical keyboard. We may add challenges, in which the players must play the game with only one of the output methods. We are also considering adding vibration as an output method. Finally, we may add gameplay variations that resemble other games such as HORSE (a common basketball game) or Telephone (a common children's game).
