From Dave:
Hi guys, it's good to see how the focus on interaction and use-cases here. The sketches make it very clear the kind of interaction you are supporting. And it's an interesting space you have chosen. I would be interested in hearing a discussion on how you feel this chair may add to your sense of "being in" the virtual world or its affect on the interaction between people.
From Kimiko:
It is interesting that in the proposed chair, the person is always looking at the display but only the body moves. So your face cannot move, but only your body has to twist and turn. It would be interesting to see how that feels in navigating the virtual world. There is only one way to see by trying it out! Have you also thought about leaning forward/backward? People also tend to twist left and right in a swivel chair when bored or while waiting.
