Midterm Project 2: Project Progress Sketches

Description:
Our progress sketch consists of two components that work together to create a scavenger hunt and exploration activity.  The magnifying glass allows the user to take a closer look at items, taking a photo of that item and sending it to the exploration map that tracks where the user has been.  The map provides information on where you've been and the various items you've seen along your journey.

Purpose: PulsR is meant to be an instrument accessible to people with no prior music experience. The settings we see it being used in are when playing with it alone, and when playing it for a small group of people. Its similarity to existing stringed instruments and visual display aspect give it a focus on embodied play and performance.
