Being both ambitioned hobby photographers we get to explain the “hows” and “whys” of our DSLRs from time to time. We remembered that it was kind of hard to explain interaction of a camera’s elements. How does changing the aperture effect the exposure time and the length of the depth of focus? What has to be changed if the user decides to alter the ISO value of its DSLR?

Midterm project proposal

A real-time music collaboration system for learning guitar. Can be used in a face-to-face setting for instruction or in jam sessions.

The system integrates a sensing board on one guitar and translates what is played to one or multiple other guitars with a projection of the frets played on the former guitar. The system is a modular—it can be attached and implemented on any guitar.
