Assignment: Thoughtless Acts

Scene: In the BART station, a person leaves a newspaper on top of the trash even though there is a recycling bin next to it.

Solution: BART stations could have a newspaper rack for redistributing used copies of magazines and newspapers.

Scene: A woman sits on a brick planter and uses the bench as a footrest, presumably to have a better view of buses coming (the bench was near a bus station).

Solution:The bus stop may already have arrival times posted, but additional mirrors or a camera showing the street could show the buses arriving.

Scene: My bathroom! I use the end knob of a towel bar to hang hair things so that they are convenient right next to the mirror.

Solution: This works for me, but less messy looking solution might be to hang a container of some sort from the towel bar.
