Information on Using TextPad for Java
Setting it up:
You have to have JDK already on your system before installing TextPad.
An easy way to get the setup to work is to be sure your
CLASSPATH is empty (in Control Panel -> System -> Advanced
->Environment Variables)
The menu items to focus on are:
- Configure > Preferences > Document Classes > Java
- Configure > Preferences > Tools > Compile Java (don't
change Command or Parameters or Initial Directory; do set Capture
Output)
- Configure > Preferences > Tools > Run Java Application
(don't change Command or Parameters or Initial Directory; do set Capture Output)
- Tools > Compile Java (use this)
- Tools > Run Java Application (use this)
