Materials Low-Fidelity Prototype and Usability Testing |
Incident Logs Given the type of incidents we were looking for in the low-fidelity prototype testing phase, which did not suggest easy quantification, we didn't create incident logs during the usability tests. Instead we made notes on approximately 100 note cards. These notes sought to capture as much as possible exactly what the users said as they moved through the scenarios. They represent a running dialogue that combines subjective comments with substantive evaluation. We feel that representing this data is best done through a narrative format, which is what we've tried to accomplish in the Low-fidelity write-up.
