Accessibility vs. Access

Prior to the digitization movement, there were two obstacles of information discovery. The first, barriers of awareness, refers to the information that we cannot access because we do not know it exists. The second, barriers of accessibility, deals with the information that we know exists, but is out of our reach.

The Michelin Guide

The Michelin guide is the most haughty-tauty of all the restaurant ranking systems.  It is headquartered in Paris, France and has been the platinum standard of fine dining since the very early 1900s. 

Our very own local Berkeley establishment, Chez Panisse, lost its single star this year.
