1. The first image is standard concrete graffiti. Concrete provides such a great opportunity to leave your mark for all eternity

2. Porch library. I am not sure what the owner of this exterior book stash has in mind. Maybe people are allowed to borrow books or leave them? Maybe his house is so full this is the only place left to put a bookshelf.
3. Many bikers roll up their right pant leg to avoid getting grease on it from the cogs.
4. These trees are perfectly positioned to accommodate a swing hung between them.
5. A pair of unwanted shoes on the sidewalk. The easiest way to recycle in Berkeley is to put your stuff on the sidewalk. It's usually gone by morning.
