Assignment: Thoughtless Acts

I'm not sure it counts as a thoughtless act, but I've found I often repurpose my watch as a wedding-ring holder when I am playing sports or doing something else that makes me worry about my ring. I've also used a tin of Altoids for this purpose. The funny thing is that the watch doesn't actually attach the wedding ring to anything - it simply makes it larger, which makes it seem harder to lose.

I could imagine a variety of possible product solutions to this issue - one might be based on the things I already carry, such as my messenger bag, which could have a extra strap with secure clips to hold small items. Another idea might be a self-contained product, either a secure container or a set of secure clips, that might be outfitted with a LoJack-style tracker, allowing me to recover the item if it was lost.
