Assignment: DC Motor: Actuation Assignment 1

Description

For this project, I made use of the motor as a driving force for optical illusions. Coming from a cognitive science background, one of the things that fascinated me in my classes was optical illusions, so I downloaded different patterns that could be printed out, and then I used the motor to spin the illusions.

I taped the printouts onto a styrofoam plate, and then held the plate onto the cork using the pushpin. I think it worked better without the styrofoam plate, however.

Components Used

  • All of the components from the lab
  • Optical illusion printouts
  • Cork
  • Pushpin
  • Styrofoam plate
Code
The code that I used was the same as the one used in lab.
