Started in Project Management
- Prepare an elevator pitch for your project. Typically
an elevator pitch is a 35 second presentation that sells you or your
product. In this assignment, you need to sell your project in order to
get sponsorship, resources, or assistance of some kind. The parameters
remain similar to any elevator speech see Microsofts 5 W approach. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX100748761033.aspx . The key from a project
management perspective is:
Whats the
benefit & beneficiary of the project?
Whats the
problem thats being solved?
What is the connection
to the person you are speaking to?
- If possible, attend presentations on Jan 30 of
masters final projects
- This is not part of the assignment but if you
want to check out your project, you can try the Charter risk evaluator: http://www.cio.sc.gov/PMDT/Project_Charter_Risk_Evaluator.htm
