In the Master's lounge, students frequently forget to log out when they are no longer using the computers. The computers never automatically log off a user, so many of the computers are unable for use.

As an effort to address this problem, students have created something called the Board of Shame, an attempt to use social shaming to encourage people to remember to log out. If a student forgets to log out and another student wants to use the computer, the forgetful student's name is written on the Board of Shame. The Board works pretty well; students whose names are on the board express remorse, and log out immediately. However, they still can't help but to occasionally forget to log out. 

I think this is an example of a thoughtless act; the locked computer is a design flaw that people have attempted to address by creating a Board of Shame.
