All about Lecture 2
Lecture Slides In this lecture, I went over the basics of research design. I discussed the manipulation and control of Independent Variables (IV), the selection and measurement of Dependent Variables (DV) and the various ways to control possible confounding variables. I also discussed the whole concept of measurement and talked about the four levels of measurement: Nominal, Ordinal, Interval and Ratio.
