Hello people,

Here's a quick guide to this website

1. Logging in:
School of Information students should be able to do so with their I School credentials.

All other students, unfortunately, you will have to get back to me with your:
-preferred username (preferably your first name so that others in the class know who you are)
-preferred email address
I will then create an account for you with a temporary password. Please change the password as soon as possible.

2. Your account:
Look! You can add a picture to your profile! Again, because there are a lot of students from different departments in this class, I highly recommend that you add a face picture of yourself so that we can recognize each other faster and build a closer knit community.

3. Adding a lab submission:
There are multiple ways to get to this page. Basically you have to click on
"Create content" and select "Lab submission" or use the link below
http://courses.ischool.berkeley.edu/i262/s11/node/add/lab-submission

All lab submissions require you to put in a title and select the assignment that it is associated with.

4. Other stuff:
All lab submissions can be viewed under the assignments tab or at this link
http://courses.ischool.berkeley.edu/i262/s11/student_assignments
Clicking on a title will take you to that person's lab submission.

You are advised to take a look at what others are doing... it can be a great source of inspiration!

At the end of each submission is a tool to rate it. Please don't think of this as a tool for competition, but rather, as a way for our community members to give quick and immediate feedback on each others' work. So use it!

5. More stuff:
We are still working on a wiki/forum/user created groups for you to use as the semester progresses and you start working in groups so stay tuned for that.

Let me know if there are any problems!
