Description:
For this homework I wanted to take back and forth motion and turn it into circular motion. The blanket term for this is recipricol motion. So I set out to replicate the motion of something like a steam engine, which has a reciprocating piston and linkages to the wheels.
As you can see below the result is a little wobbly and I want to spruce it up. I built it mostly with laser cut acrylic and screws.
Materials:
- Arduino Uno and Computer
- Servo
- M3 x 16 mm bolts and nuts (had them around)
- Acrylic for laser cutting
- Laser cutter, drill, hotglue gun
