Description:
For this assignment, I decided to create a Squeeze me not smiley which at first is happy but does not like it
when you squeeze it too much. To begin with, I created a smiling face, this included the outer face, two eyes and the lips. This was done using various shapes available in processing (ellipse, line, arc). When the FSR is squeezed, the gestures of the smiley change. With the gestures, the text depicting the mood of the smiley also changes and so does the color. When the force is at its peak, the smiley becomes red and says "Stop it!!". I used a smiley rubber ball to control the pressure applied. I made use the values of the serial input to control, the size, gestures, text and color there by creating a visualization that simulates the squeezing action.
For the diffusor I used a cotton filled smiley ball. It acted as the tangible object which was being squeezed.
