Description
The lab is an introduction to Arduino and physical computing. The Arduino microcontroller was connected to a laptop to make an LED blink. I used the sample code provided and changed the "delay()" value to 500 to ensure that the code is working properly.
Components
- 1x 220 Ohm Resistor
- 1x Green LED
- 3x Jumpers
- 1x Arduino Uno
- 1x Breadboard
- 1x Macbook Pro
Code
Blink
Turns on an LED on for one second, then off for one second, repeatedly.
This example code is in the public domain.
*/
// Pin 13 has an LED connected on most Arduino boards.
// give it a name:
int led = 13;
// the setup routine runs once when you press reset:
void setup() {
// initialize the digital pin as an output.
pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop routine runs over and over again forever:
void loop() {
digitalWrite(led, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(500); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(led, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(500); // wait for a second
}
