This Arduino project was to make an LED blink.
The setup was a Arduino connected to my Macbook sending a signal through a 220 Ohm resistor to a red LED and then grounded. (see attached image)
Components Used:
1 220 Ohm Resistor
1 Arduino Uno
1 Red LED
1 Breadboard
The code was modified so that the light stayed on for 10 seconds and then blinked off for .99 seconds. This allowed me to easily get a good picture and proved that it would blink.
My Code:
int led = 13;
// the setup routine runs once when you press reset:
void setup() {
// initialize the digital pin as an output.
pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop routine runs over and over again forever:
void loop() {
digitalWrite(led, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(10000); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(led, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(990); // wait for a second
}
