Description
In this setup lab, I got the Arduino Uno working with my machine and modified the example Blink sketch to flash an LED on a simple circuit at a faster rate.
Components Used
As requested, I used the following components:
1- Arduino Uno
1- 220 ohm resistor
1- LED
1- Breadboard
Code
/*
Blink
Repeatedly turns on an LED on for 0.5 seconds and then off for 0.25 seconds.

// Pin 13 has an LED connected on most Arduino boards.
// give it a name:
int led = 13;
// the setup routine runs once when you press reset:
void setup() {
// initialize the digital pin as an output.
pinMode(led, OUTPUT);
}
// the loop routine runs over and over again forever:
void loop() {
digitalWrite(led, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
delay(500); // wait for a second
digitalWrite(led, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
delay(250); // wait for a second
}
