1) what is happening in the scene:
The scenario in which I found myself performing a thoughtless act was when I wanted to watch Youtube on my smart phone. When lying in bed, I wasn't sure how to best (and comfortably) position the phone. The video displays in wide screen when the phone is held horizontally. There is a table (not visible in the photo) to my right which is where I prefer to place my phone so that it can charge while I watch tv and undoubtably fall asleep. However, when the phone is sitting on the table then it isn't possible for me to easily view the screen.
What I find myself doing is using my bed comforter as a support, holding the phone angled vertically so that it's visible when I rest my head on the pillow. The phone is held horizontally so that the video plays in wide screen.
2) possible physical and/or virtual design solution(s):
One physical solution that could aid me in comfortably viewing video on my smart phone while lying in bed is if I were to create a stand that holds the phone when placed on the bedside dresser. This would be ideal because the phone could charge while I still watch the video.
