DC Motor: Actuation Assignment 1

In this lab, we used DC motor and controlled RPM using a potentiometer. The motor was used to both rotate objects and vibrate.

For this lab I decided to use the vibrating practicality of a motor by attaching a cork slice off center.  I then attached the vibrating motor to a cup where if left by itself for too long it would start to vibrate to remind you (see attached video).

DESCRIPTION
In this lab, we used a pot to control the rotational speed of a DC motor. After, we switched to an FSR then a photocell to control the rotational speed. Lastly, we attached different materials to the end of the DC motor to explore rotational motion and vibration.
