We're looking into the realm of musical instruments for either:
a) A collaborative instrument with several ropes in tension, where each rope represents a frequency range (or timbre). Users would have to step or jump on the rope, and depending on where the rope is depressed, it will make a different sound. Users can collaborate to create chords or melodies by plucking the rope.
b) A rope instrument where the rope can be manipulated to different shapes and uses to create different sounds. It can be played on by plucking, hitting, squeezing, pulling, or twisting.
c) A sound capture sequencer that captures sounds around you with a mic (you can create sounds via instruments or by using/hitting trivial objects). The sounds are associated with a set of tokens, and you can place those tokens in a sequencer that will loop and play the sounds. This would output the same as a Boss loop station, but be much more physically tangible in recording and rearranging sounds.
