Lab 7: Wire Crawler

Description

  • For this lab, I was forced to do something quick and simple as I am out of town for 5 days. I liked the simplicity of the example crawler and wanted to do something equally simple but elegant. I was really interested in getting the servo to move itself with minimal other material. I used stiff metal wire and the rubber pads that came with the servo to create a moving 4-legged crawler. The back lags are loose to help the crawler shift its weight back and forth in order to get some forward momentum. The crawler is controlled with a potentiometer.
