Search Tips |
| Please put quotation marks around a phrase. You can enter multiple terms or phrases separated by spaces. If you want to search by author's name, then enter the author's name as a phrase. If you require all terms/phrases used in your query to appear in a document, select "all mandatory", which is the default. If you want to find a document that contains at least one of the terms/phrases used in your query, then select "all optional". |
| You can enhance your query by choosing relevant terms/phrases suggested by Gotcha's proprietary KM thesaurus. Simply check the box "Enhance the query by adding related terms/phrases. If you insist a term/phrase appear in a document, select "Mandatory". If you would prefer a term/phrase appear but it is not absolutely necessary, then select "Optional". If you select neither, the term/phrase will not be included in your query. You can conduct a quasi-boolean search by selecting "Optional" or "Mandatory" or neither for each individual term/phrase, though a short-cut of selecting either "All Optional" or "All Mandatory" is provided. |
