Dear (name omitted),

Thank you for you response to my initial request for survivors in Holland. I do indeed have more information.

I am looking for siblings of my grandmother who might have survived. She had a brother (name omitted) who shows to have died in Rotterdam, at a young age but old enough to have had his own family.

(name omitted) dob Aug 10, 1882 - July 9, 1943 Sobibor, parents (name omitted) dob Jan 19, 1847 & (name omitted) dob, Aug 1853. I understand that (name omitted) brother (name omitted) has surviving family (name omitted) (l889-1899) All these folks were born and lived in Rotterdam. I know there is a (name omitted) written, but I believe those are not recent relations, so would not have known my parent. To meet someone who actually knew them is my burning desire.

Of course I know nothing about the (name omitted) side of the family (name omitted), mother's parentage. Her dob Aug 4,1913, father (name omitted), father (name omitted) aug 10,1882.

I also met folks by the name of (name omitted), (name omitted), and (name omitted). My adoptive parents refused to tell me how, and if they were related. Now it is too late since Mom is 85 and does not have recall. the above were children of (name omitted) 1953-1916. How am I related to them. Surely some of their offsprind still live in Rotterdam.

I just recently got in touch with the Jewish Gen. Soc. Are there other bulleting boards I could post to and how.

I'm sure with your help I will become more proficient in researching as well, THANK YOU SO MUCH.
