Lo-fi Script
1. Explain Informed Consent Document and ask participant to sign.
2. Assess computer, Internet, and search experience.
3. Explain the benefits of paper prototyping, and emphasis on functionality rather than aesthetics.
4. Explain the type and number of tasks and when tasks are considered complete.
5. Tell them that they may notice one or more of the following during the tasks:
- Most of the content is fictional.
- Much of the content is incomplete.
- Some system functions are not available at this time.
- Some of the functions or layouts may change slightly between tasks.
- All of the titles, tags, and descriptions are subject to change.
6. Explain what different symbols represent:
- Hyperlinks
- Incomplete text
- Entry fields
- Pull-down menus
- Checkboxes and radio buttons
- Regular buttons
- Scrollbars
- Photos
7. Demo.
8. Begin test.
- Introduce elements of start page.
- Present Task 1.
- Take short break.
- Present Task 2.
9. Ask post-test questions.
10. Debrief.
