Test Measures

  1. Time taken to complete each task.

Reason: This is to determine whether or not the metadata selection process and arrangement is intuitive. We want to determine if the titles are clearly labeled such that the user knows what to do without seeking help. We also want to test the consistency in our design as far as learnability. In other words, we want to see if the user can use the other parts of the interface with a decreased completion time based on having seen and used previous parts of our tool.

  2. The number of errors that users have made when going through the test scenarios.

Reason: We want to determine if there is a pattern in the making of errors for a particular section of our interface. If such a pattern exists, this would be a strong hint that we need to redesign the interface.
