Background:  It is Wednesday evening. A friend is visiting from out of town and wants you to help organize an outing with some local friends Saturday night.  At SFnight, you find some events and venues where you think you’ll all have fun.

1.      Was any part of the steps confusing, hard to understand? Please describe.

 

I wasn’t sure about how to save my selections to MySFnight or to My e-mail list. I would have tried MySFnight first.

 

I was not sure whether I would have to register or not.

 

2.      Any other thoughts and comments? 

 

If I have a larger list of friends I would like it to be stored somewhere so I don’t need to input all the addresses more than once.

 

There is a need for directions for first-time users. My suspicion is that such a site would run on a personalization server hence next time I come in I expect it to remember me.

Background:You just heard from a friend that you can get personal information about San Francisco nightlife by becoming a SFnight member. You are curious and go to the website to signup.

Task 3 –USING MYSFNIGHT

 

Background: Two friends are visiting from March 23 to May 19. Each has different taste in music. You go to SFnight to plan a calendar that can accommodate the interests of both.

The overall calendar and my calendar look too similar and hence confusing.

I was looking for the words “My Calendar” but couldn’t find it.

Make the two calendars distinguishable, and the ability to add from one place to the other more obvious.
