Its image analysis technology makes it easy to browse users’ photo collection by providing two features: a moment filter which groups photos together by moments, and an auto-curation function, which automatically excludes blurry, out-of-focus, dark, or under or over exposed photos during slideshow.

Despite these nice supporting features to organize photos, the author of Tech Crunch pointed out three limitations of Everpix. She mentioned privacy issues of it not allowing users to select a specific folder to upload as well as not using OAuth connection with Gmail instead requiring username and password. When it came to really personal photos, users might hesitate to upload them on Everpix. Additionally, it takes a long time to collect entire photos from users’ local repository and online services to put them into Everpix, which may interrupt work. The last thing that makes her disappointed is that Everpix doesn’t support search.

This article was written a year ago, but Everpix launched just a week ago according to its blog. Thinking of organizing, maintaining and sharing personal photos by themselves as time-consuming and even boring tasks, it is quite beneficial for these users to use Everpix because of it offering unlimited space, automatically visualizing a group of photos nicely, and providing an easy sharing feature. Hope that Everpix helps reducing time of organizing photos and exploring them.
