The Giants defeat the Rangers through the efforts of a three-run homer by Renteria and a dominant eight innings from Lincecum. As a result, San Francisco finally won their first World Series since 1954 and it was also the Giant’s first title after they moved from New York.

As one of huge baseball fans, I was surprised that MLB or broadcasting companies use a various classification (or categorization) from its long history. For example, “MLB franchises with the longest current World Series crown drought”
 I’ve never seen these kinds of organization because there are not only eight professional baseball teams in Korean Baseball League, but also it’s been over 30 years since the league has been started. My team is favored to win the Korean series but lost final round three years in a row. Anyway, go! Bears. (I’m not refering to UC Berkeley at this time.)
