Created for the CIA by American artist Jim Sanborn, Kryptos is a sculpture with 4 secret messages. Currently, 3 out of the 4 messages have been solved. The fourth one has remained unsolved for the past 20 years, stumping both people and computers! Frustrated, Sanborn has provided the public with a clue: NYPVTT = BERLIN. He also hints that the misspellings in hidden message number 2 will help us solve message 4. So who wants to help me solve this puzzle? Does anyone have an Enigma or Ultra or any other old timey decryption machine lying around? Modern computers can't solve this code, but maybe something vintage can! And who knows, maybe Dan Brown will make us characters in his next novel.
