John Simon. Ho Nee Yeath Taw No Row: King of the Generethgarich. 1710.
In the spring of 1710, four "Indian Kings" (Iroquois chieftains from what is now New York State) were presented to Queen Anne in London. On November 14, 1710, the periodical, Tatler , advertised a series of four mezzotints after full-length portraits of the Indians painted for the Queen by John Verelst.
