Abstract

Claritics uses data-rich analytics to help social and mobile game/app

publishers gain immediate, actionable insights into user behavior. These insights help improve and fine tune player acquisition campaigns in near real time mode. We will discuss the critical importance of actionable analytics in shaping the destinies of new and up&  coming Zyngas in the converging world of console, social and mobile gaming. We will also briefly touch upon important user segmentation techniques that are critical to delivering these insights.

Raj Pai, CEO and co-founder

 

Raj is passionate about delivering innovative business solutions to

clients, leveraging the power of data and analytics. Most recently, Raj was a sales and marketing executive at big data analytics market leader, Aster Data, and worked on solutions including social graph analysis for LinkedIn, mobile analytics for Mobclix, behavioral ad targeting for MySpace, granular multi-platform customer tracking for comScore and data mining for mint.com. Previously, Raj led the Global Product Management team at Informatica (Nasdaq: INFA) and also developed and launched Tibco's (Nasdaq: TIBX) hosted and on premise portal solutions. Raj is an engineer by training and began his career designing Intel's multi-billion dollar Pentium product line.

 

Raj has an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, a M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Hawaii and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

 

 

Jay Bala, CTO, and co-founder

 

Jay is a seasoned product visionary with hands-on experience in Analytics and Data Warehousing built over two decades in leadership roles at enterprise companies and startups. Most recently, Jay led the customer success team of a SaaS-based customer behavioral analytics company, Quantivo Corporation, driving successful implementations at Fortune 500 companies like Comcast, Metlife and Party City. Previously Jay spent 8 years at Informatica (Nasdaq: INFA) where he managed a global PM team in building the metadata management product line that grew from 1 to 200+ customers over 3 years. Jay was an early employee of Influence Software (acquired by Informatica), a startup that built packaged analytic applications for SAP customers like Honeywell and Johnson&  Johnson.  Jay has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a B.Tech

in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
