Schedule & Lectures	Course Overview This is a research seminar focusing on the nascent field of text data mining. One goal of this course is to help develop an understanding of what text data mining is. Another goal is to improve students' background in text analysis techniques. A third goal is to make progress in original research in the this new area. Students enrolled in the seminar will be expected to contribute substantively to a research project. Students must have permission of the instructor to enroll.
