COHEN-BRAY HOUSE

History

The Cohen-Bray house was built in 1884 as a wedding present to Emma Bray Cohen and her husband Alfred H. Cohen. Emma's parents bought them the land and house, and Alfred's parents bought them the furniture, which is still in the house to this day. Emma and Alfred had four children; the youngest one, Emelita, lived in the house for 90 years.

Today, members of the Cohen-Bray family still live in the house. You may meet one of them as your tour guide!
