Input Output Conicidence
The purpose of the lab was to build a device that had input output coincidence. As part of the in class work we used the piezzo speakers as output devices. But I came across a feature that the PIezzo speakers can be used to sense taps. So I wanted to play with this feature of the piezo speaker and use LED's as output for my IO coincidence device.
The code reads an input from the Piezzo sensor. The tap is sensed as a digital input. Every tap toggles the input value. When the input is high the LEDs blink at a random sequence. When the input is low the LEDs are off. The piezzo sensor was attached to the top of an inverted cup that acts as the device. The device takes the input in the form of a tap. The output is also in the cup as the cup diffuses the LED lights when the tap toggles the input to high. The code is attached in divyak_IOCoincidence_code.txt
A sample video of the device working is available at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3eGwnwfPagcNGoyblR4NU1IWWs/edit?usp=sharing
