February 15, 2007 - Mini-TREC queries available
The Mini-TREC data and training queries, including relevance judgements for them, are available to students in the /projects/i240 area the files are (data) "ft" and its subdirectories, (topics/queries) PREV_TOPICS, and (Relevance judgements) FT_QRELS.
January 10, 2007 - Web site available
The IS 240 web site is up (obviously)
Mini-TREC Schedule
- February 15 - Database and previous Queries
- February 27 - report on system acquisition and setup
- March 8 - New Queries for testing
- April 19 - Results due (let me know where your result files are located)
- April 24 or 26 - Evaluation results and system rankings returned
- May 8 - Group reports and discussion
Final Paper
The final paper is due the last day of classes, May 8th.
