Face(book) recognition for the masses?

For several weeks now, Coke Zero has had spooky looking ads on the net saying: "If Coke Zero has Coke's taste, is it possible someone out there has your face?" The teaser features two faces that obviously belong to different people but look roughly similar. It points to a Facebook app where users can upload three photos of themselves plus a webcam photo to find their doppelganger. They claim to use the photos to create a model of your "current facial attributes" and compare that to others' uploads. Exciting!

Does it work? Well, that's hard to know. Before any results will be made available, they first need to fill their database. So far, this has not happened and unfortunately, the Facebook app does neither indicate how large the database will be nor to what percentage it has been filled.
