John Simon. Etow Oh Koam of the River Nation. 1710.

In the spring of 1710, four "Indian Kings" (Iroquois chieftans from what is now New York State) were presented to Queen Anne. On November 14, 1710, the periodical, Tatler, advertised a series of four mezzotints after the full-length portraits of the Indians painted for the Queen by John Verelst.
